Order a caricature without knowing what to write

You want to give a caricature as a gift, but describing a person in writing is a chore nobody enjoys. So I built a multiple-choice questionnaire that writes the description for you: you click, the text composes itself, lands in the form above, and you can edit it before sending it to me.

To my knowledge, no other caricaturist in the world offers this tool. Caricature websites ask for a photo and a blank text box. Here, you write nothing: a few clicks are enough for me to know exactly what to draw.

Frequently asked questions

How can I order a caricature if I don’t know what to write?

Use the multiple-choice questionnaire in the form above. You answer by clicking options (temperament, most striking feature, occasion, exaggeration level). The description is written automatically and placed in the message field. You write nothing — just add your photos and your email address.

What is the “Help me describe” questionnaire?

It is a tool I created after twenty-five years of live caricature, to ask at a distance the questions I usually ask face to face, sketchpad under my arm. It turns a few clicks into a complete drawing brief. To my knowledge, no other caricaturist offers this kind of pre-order questionnaire.

What information do you need to draw someone?

Their name or nickname, their job and hobbies (that is often where the best detail hides), their temperament, the feature people notice first, the occasion, the desired level of exaggeration and, if you wish, a line to write on the drawing. The questionnaire asks for all of this in order.

Can I have several people in the same caricature?

Yes. The questionnaire takes 1 to 5 people and more, with a separate card for each: newlyweds, two best friends, an office team, a sports club, a group of friends. Beyond five, describe the first five and freely add the others to the finished text.

How far does the exaggeration go?

You set it yourself, on a scale of 1 to 5, from a very faithful likeness to full-on exaggeration. It is the most important question in any caricature commission — and the one clients never dare ask themselves.

Can I edit the generated description?

Entirely. The text appears in an editable box: add an inside joke, a quirk, a favourite outfit, the context of the celebration. Everything you write, I read.

Will I see a sketch before the final drawing?

Yes. After your order, I send you a sketch that you can have adjusted to your taste and instructions before I produce the final drawing.

How quickly do you reply?
