Hello and welcome to my workshop! I’m Sébastien Rieu, a freelance caricature artist. From my studio located in the heart of Bordeaux, I carry on the tradition of French satirical art, the famous “Spirit of Montmartre” that has made our country famous worldwide.

Today, the internet is flooded with fake computer-generated artwork or simple filters applied to photos. My approach is radically different.

I am a craftsman of the pencil.

Every caricature, every portrait you order is drawn entirely by hand. I use genuine India ink, watercolors, and above all… time and passion. It’s this unique touch, this human warmth, and this sharp sense of humor that give my works their priceless value.
